In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, occupation forces have intensified a massive cordon and search operation in Rajouri district.

The operation involves personnel from the Indian Army, the Central Reserve Police Force, the Special Operations Group and so-called Village Defence Guards.

Helicopters, drones, sniffer dogs and para-commandos have been deployed in the rugged terrain.

All entry and exit routes to the area remain sealed, while residents are being subjected to repeated door-to-door searches.

Similar cordon and search operations are also continuing in Poonch district and the Chatroo area of Kishtwar district.

The All Parties Hurriyat Conference has strongly condemned the ongoing military operations, arbitrary arrests and other repressive measures being employed in the territory.

APHC Spokesman Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas, in a statement, said that detentions and restrictions reflect a policy of collective punishment against the Kashmiri people.
