A massive cordon and search operation is underway for the thirty-seventh day in Rajouri district of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

Indian Chief of Defence Staff General NS Raja Subramani visited Rajouri and Poonch and directed the intensification of operations.

The area remains fully cordoned off with no media access, while locals are being interrogated inside their homes.

On the other hand, India has launched a fresh crackdown on innocent youth with the purpose of reframing the Kashmiri freedom struggle as “Nasha Mukht Bharat Abhiyan”.

In this regard, New Delhi is using narcotics allegations to malign and target Kashmiri youth involved in the freedom movement.

Meanwhile, a Kashmiri youth named Zubair Ahmad Bazad was martyred and four others were injured after an old unexploded shell detonated by the Indian Army exploded in the Gulmarg area of Baramulla district.
