National Disaster Management Authority has warned of flash flooding and hill torrents due to light to moderate rainfall in central and northern regions of the country.      

In a warning issued on Wednesday, the NDMA said there is possibility of isolated heavy falls and hailstorms in some areas that may damage property, crops, and vegetation.

It has advised people in vulnerable areas to take extra caution and stay up-to-date with the latest weather reports and advisories.              

Reiterating its commitment to ensure safety and well-being of citizens across the country, the NDMA said it will continue to monitor the situation.
