The Gilgit-Baltistan government has established a Provincial Emergency Operations Center to effectively deal with natural disasters and emergencies.

According to the Home Department of Gilgit-Baltistan, the center will remain functional 24 hours a day from tomorrow until August 30 at the GBDMA headquarters in Munawar, Gilgit.
