Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani has called for stronger parliamentary diplomacy, equal application of international law and peaceful resolution of conflicts to secure peace and shared prosperity.

He was speaking at the General Debate of the 2nd Inter-Parliamentary Speakers’ Conference (ISC) in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

Citing Pakistan’s role in facilitating dialogue between the US and Iran, the Chairman Senate said diplomacy and bridge-building are essential to resolving differences.
