The establishment of Karachi Industrial Park near Port Qasim has been approved with the support of Special Investment Facilitation Council.

Spanning 6,409 acres, it will be Pakistan’s largest industrial economic zone.

A policy has also been approved to provide basic infrastructure in private economic zones to further facilitate industrial investment.

A new land leasing policy has been approved for Punjab’s government Special Economic Zones and industrial estates.
