The first phase of the general elections in Azad Kashmir is commencing today in a free, fair and transparent manner.

All arrangements for holding the 2026 elections across Mirpur's four constituencies have been finalized.

A workforce comprising 3,643 personnel has been deployed for the electoral process, and additional security measures have been implemented at 320 highly sensitive polling stations.
