President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have commended the security forces for foiling the infiltration attempt by Khawarij terrorists in North Waziristan and Kurram.

In their separate statements today, they also paid heartfelt tribute to five security personnel who sacrificed their lives in the defense of the motherland.

President said Fitna al-Khawarij and their Indian sponsors will never succeed in their nefarious designs.

He affirmed that counter terrorism campaign under the vision "Azm-e-Istehkam will continue till the complete elimination of terrorism from the country.

Meanwhile, the Prime Minister also paid rich tribute to the five personnel who embraced martyrdom while bravely fighting the terrorists.

He prayed for the elevation of the ranks of the martyrs and expressed condolences with their families.

Shehbaz Sharif said the entire nation salutes the security forces for their courage and sacrifices, reaffirming the government’s resolve to completely eradicate all forms of terrorism from the country.
