Advisor to the Prime Minister on Industries and Production Haroon Akhtar Khan has said that attracting foreign investment is among the priorities of the federal government.

He was addressing a news conference in Lahore today along with Senior Punjab Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb.

Haroon Akhtar Khan said that Pakistan's economy is showing signs of improvement.

He said that the government wants to facilitate investors and promote businesses in the country.

The Advisor said that the Special Investment Facilitation Council is playing a key role in promoting business activities.

He said that new industries will create more job opportunities.

Speaking on the occasion, Marriyum Aurangzeb said that the Punjab Government is also working to promote businesses. She said special measures have been taken to facilitate the business sector in the province through the introduction of a One Window Operation.
