The Embassy of Pakistan in Brussels hosted the launch of the book titled "The Security Imperative – Pakistan's Nuclear Deterrence and Diplomacy" authored by Ambassador Zamir Akram at the Brussels Press Club.

The event was attended by Brussels based Ambassadors, members of the diplomatic corps, and representatives from the think tank community and academia.

In his remarks, Ambassador Zamir Akram highlighted that Pakistan’s determined pursuit of nuclear deterrence is not motivated by considerations of prestige and great power ambitions but driven by its acute, existential and evolving security challenges.
