The 20th death anniversary of the famous comedian of the Pakistani film industry, Khalifa Nazir was observed on Saturday.

Khalifa Nazir was the third most popular comedian in Punjabi films after Rangeela and Munawar Zarif. He showed the essence of acting in about 150 films.

His famous films include Bhaiyaan Di Jodi, Daulat Aur Dunya, Ghulam, Ek Dhi Punjab Di and Maa Te Qaanun. He also played the lead role in the film Mastana.

He died on this day in 2005 in Lahore.
