Punjab Governor Muhammad Baligh-ur-Rehman has issued directives to the officials concerned to speed up the pace of work on various development projects in Bahawalpur so as to complete them within stipulated time frame.

Inspecting the ongoing development works during his visit to Bahawalpur, he directed that the construction work of development projects should be completed properly.

He went to under construction Home Economics College and inspected the quality of work. He said the college is a gift for the girls of the region.

He directed that the construction work of Bahawalpur Industrial Estate of Phase-I should be completed in four months.

The Governor inspected the ongoing development work on Motorway Jhangra East Interchange Link near Bahawalpur.

He also visited the South Punjab Secretariat site where he was briefed about the ongoing construction work.
