Minister for Planning and Development Khusro Bukhtair has said that Balochistan will make more contribution in socio-economic progress of the country.

Talking to media persons along with Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Jam Kamal Khan in Quetta today, he said construction work on Khulak-Zohab Road will be started during the current fiscal year. 

Earlier, Minister for Planning and Development Khusro Bakhtyar visited Gwadar Port, Free Zone and sites of different development projects, including new Gwadar Airport today.

Talking on this occasion, he underlined the government's commitment to fast track development of Gwadar.

He also chaired meetings to overview preparation for Gwadar Expo 2019 planned on 28 and 29th of this month and resolve issues of local community.

He said a transmission line is being implemented in order to link up Makran Coast with national grid.

Makhdum Khusro Bakhtyar said that Zhob-Quetta Section of Western Route would help in uplifting less developed regions of Balochistan and KP.
