Prominent international magazine The Diplomat says 2025 proved to be a landmark year for Pakistan as the country rose to new heights of global eminence and recognition.            

The magazine details major developments including the demonstration of Pakistan's military prowess during its conflict with India in May, its relations with the United States which warmed meaningfully, signing of defense pact with Saudi Arabia and role in Gaza ceasefire efforts.

The magazine also mentioned Pakistan's relentless counter terrorism efforts, pressuring Afghan interim government to stop use of Afghan soil against Pakistan and the country's intolerance for violent radicalism.
