Minister for Railways Muhammad Hanif Abbasi has directed all divisional superintendents to ensure implementation of recommendations regarding railway tracks by the 20th of next month.

Chairing a meeting in Lahore today [Sunday], the Minister directed officials to ensure timely completion of ongoing development projects in the railway divisions.

Taking strict notice of overloading at railway weighbridges, he directed that immediate action be taken on complaints regarding overloading.

The Minister expressed satisfaction over Pakistan Railways earning twenty-six billion rupees during the first quarter and appreciated the administration for its performance.
