Analyst hails PM Shehbaz for promoting FDI in Pakistan
September 24, 2026

Dr. Muhammad Khan (IR Expert):  Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has held an important meeting with Pakistani businessmen community in New York. The meeting was aimed at attracting more and more foreign investment in Pakistan. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif briefed Pakistani businessmen about business and investment friendly environment in Pakistan. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif asked Pakistani businessmen to invest in Pakistan to help ending unemployment. Prime Minister told them that their investment will lift Pakistani investment rating at international level. Moreover, Pakistani businessmen also convince foreign investors to invest in Pakistan. Actually, Marka e Haq proved to be a decisive juncture in lifting Pakistan’s international stature in the wake of false and concocted propaganda made by Indian Modi and his team. Now US President Donald Trump is highly appreciative to Pakistan and Pakistani leadership. Pakistani befitting response to India also raised trust of foreign investors about safety and security of their investment in Pakistan. However, now defeated and failed Indian leadership is using their proxies to hit Pakistan and this strategy shows failed and downgraded mentality of Indian strategists. I think that ongoing UNGA session is crucial in the wake of Iran-US tensions and others challenges. Now Pakistan is trying to get an immediate end of Iran-US conflict. Both Iran and US also want to end war but on their own respective terms. Pakistan played key role in organizing meeting between US and Iranian officials at UNGA. I think that Pakistan has stopped war between Iran and GCC countries which is deep desire of Israel. Diplomacy by Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has played key role in averting war between Iran and GCC countries. Moreover, sideline meetings on the eve of mega international sessions either they are UN, SCO or others, are very crucial because pre-decided sideline meetings are used to streamline the issues of economy, diplomacy or security. Latter consensus evolved at such sideline meetings are formalized in the shape of MoUs and written agreements.
