All Parties Hurriyat Conference has urged the United Nations to intervene and stop Modi-government from its intensified Hindutva-driven onslaught against the Muslim majority in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, APHC spokesman Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas, in a statement issued in Srinagar, termed the forcible takeover of schools run by the Falah-e-Aam Trust as part of the BJP regime’s communal agenda. 

He warned that these authoritarian moves are aimed at choking the Kashmiris’ demand for the right to self-determination.

Meanwhile, President Peoples Democratic Party Mehbooba Mufti has also denounced takeover of the Trust’s schools as an assault on Kashmir’s educational and cultural identity.

 Senior Congress leader P. Chidambaram has said that the Indian Supreme Court had held the August 2019 abrogation of Article 370 unconstitutional, but the BJP continues to deny statehood to Jammu and Kashmir in violation of its pledge before the Court.
