Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has inaugurated the electric bus project in Sahiwal.

Addressing the ceremony, she said the fare will be only 20 rupees, while senior citizens, women, and students can travel free of cost.

She said that each bus has a separate section for women, along with mobile charging and Wi-Fi facilities.

Maryam Nawaz said the government is focused on providing quality and affordable travel facilities to the people of Punjab.

She also announced that heart patients in Sahiwal will now receive treatment within the city.

She announced that thirty electric buses have been allocated for Sahiwal.
