In Afghanistan, armed resistance by opposition groups against the illegal, authoritarian and extremist rule of the Afghan Taliban has intensified.

Armed Afghan groups operating in different parts of the country are causing massive human and financial losses to the Taliban regime.

According to the armed political and resistance organization, Afghan Freedom Front, rocket attacks in Badakhshan province killed nine Taliban officials.

The Afghan Freedom Front said the Taliban governor's office in the provincial capital Faizabad was attacked, while its forces targeted Taliban security posts with rockets.

According to the Afghan resistance movement The Green Trend, the Taliban were attacked in a residential building in the Chehab district of Takhar province, causing heavy casualties.

In recent weeks, armed resistance activities against the Taliban have increased in northern and northeastern Afghanistan.
