In India, oppression and persecution of Muslims continue under the Modi government.

According to Indian media outlet NDTV, over seven hundred and fifty Muslim families were evicted from Dhubri district of Assam.

Over sixty bulldozers and a heavy police contingent were deployed to demolish Muslim homes and places of worship.

Local Muslims staged strong protest over the demolition of mosques, places of worship and graveyards during the eviction operation.
