Senior All Parties Hurriyat Conference leader Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has said there is complete media blackout imposed by the Modi regime in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

Talking to BBC from window of his house where he is under house arrest, Mirwaiz said media is not allowed to publish the statements of APHC leadership.

Refuting the Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha's assertions that the senior APHC leader is free to meet anyone, BBC itself exposed the blatant lies of the governor when its reporter was prevented from entering his residence to interview him.  

Mirwaiz appeared in the window of his house and told BBC that he has been under detention for the past three years.

During the interview, Indian police snatched the mobile phone of the BBC correspondent.
