Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has directed the authorities to take effective measures to improve medical facilities, the quality of healthcare, and service delivery at hospitals and health institutions under the federal government.

He gave these directions during a meeting with Minister for National Health Services Syed Mustafa Kamal in Islamabad today.

Matters relating to the Ministry of National Health Services were discussed during the meeting.

The overall political situation of the country also came under discussion.
