Chairman of the Pakistan Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority, Bilal Bin Saqib, held a meeting with US Chargé d'Affaires Natalie Baker in Islamabad today to discuss Pakistan's evolving regulatory framework for digital assets.

He briefed the US Chargé d'Affaires on the rapid developments taking place in Pakistan's digital assets sector and the country's efforts to establish a modern and robust regulatory framework.

Bilal Bin Saqib said Pakistan is developing a modern and robust regulatory framework for the digital assets sector.

He said Pakistan is laying the foundation for a digital economy while keeping the future of the financial system in view.

The meeting also included discussions on innovation, financial transparency and the future of the digital economy.
