
Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry has said the Capital Development Authority is planning to establish an education city in the federal capital.
Responding to a question during the Question Hour in the National Assembly today, he said the CDA also plans to relocate more than 300 schools from residential areas to designated sites outside these localities.
Regarding the acquisition of Higher Education Commission’s land in DHA-Margalla Enclave, the Minister clarified that the CDA has not acquired any land reserved for educational purposes in the society.
The House passed “The National Command Authority (Amendment) Bill, 2026” and “The Defence Forces of Pakistan Bill, 2026.”
