Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi formally inaugurated Online Women Police Station and 1info Mobile application in Islamabad today for registering online complaints.

The Online Women's Police Station has been established for women and a dedicated helpline number 1815 has been allocated for the purpose.

According to details, the call takers, call responders and investigation officers on the 1815 helpline are also female police officials.

During the visit, the Minister directed to make online platforms more active for immediate help to women and vulnerable groups. He said emergency complaints can be registered through the 1info mobile app.

Mohsin Naqvi said the app and online women police station are a reflection of the government's commitment to the use of modern technology.

Meanwhile, chairing an important meeting at the Safe City Headquarters in Islamabad, Interior Minister directed to make Safe City monitoring more effective and equip the surveillance system with modern technology and Artificial Intelligence.

Mohsin Naqvi also directed to work on connecting Safe City Islamabad with Safe Cities of other provinces to improve data sharing.
