Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has said the government is committed to providing maximum opportunities of quality education to the youth.

She was addressing a ceremony in Arifwala today to confer the status of Nawaz Sharif Schools of Eminence on ten schools in Punjab.

The Chief Minister said the network of Nawaz Sharif Schools of Eminence will be expanded to every tehsil of the province.

She said the Honhaar Scholarship Programme has been launched to support deserving students. She added that ten thousand government schools have been upgraded across the province over the past two years.

Maryam Nawaz said the School Meal Programme has also resulted in a significant increase in student enrolment.
