Federal Minister for Science and Technology, Chaudhary Fawad Hussain met Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar in Lahore today (Sunday).

Matters of mutual interest and political situation of the province were discussed during the meeting.

Provision of facilities to the coronavirus patients and government measures for prevention of coronavirus on Eid-ul-Azha was also discussed during the meeting.

Speaking on this occasion, the Governor said that under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan, the government has taken exemplary measures for combating coronavirus.

He said that though, the number of the coronavirus cases decreased, yet, the pandemic still exists.

He appealed the people to keep taking preventive and precautionary measures and using masks and sanitizers so as to be safe from the virus.

The Minister stressed upon the opposition to play its positive role in the hour of difficulty.
