Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Poverty Alleviation and Social Protection Dr Sania Nishtar has said Ehsaas Kafaalat programme is being extended to seven million and survey of beneficiaries will be completed soon.

Talking to media persons in Rawalpindi, she said the poor people have been affected by the situation created by coronavirus and there is a need for expanding the scope of the Ehsaas programme as much as possible.

Sania Nishtar said that Ehsas Income, Ehsas Free Interest Program, Ehsas Education and other programmes have also been launched to provide relief to the downtrodden sections of society.
