Minister for Railways Muhammad Hanif Abbasi has announced an expansion and modernization plan for Pakistan Railways.

He was talking to newsmen at Lahore Railway Station, after inaugurating the Bulleh Shah Passenger Train service between Lahore and Kasur.

The Railways Minister said that forty-three locomotives will be dedicated to the Freight Corridor, which will help increase freight business by at least thirty-two percent.
