APHC urges Kashmiris to unite against Indian oppression
May 19, 2025

The All Parties Hurriyat Conference has called upon Kashmiris across the globe to unite against Indian oppression and political injustice in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, APHC spokesman, in a statement issued in Srinagar, voiced deep concern over the worsening situation in the held territory.

He said India is attempting to conceal its war crimes by sending political delegations abroad to spread false narratives, while the ground reality in Kashmir continues to reflect brutal repression.

The spokesman said the BJP-led regime has militarized the disputed territory, turning it into a military garrison.

He said India’s oppressive measures and propaganda cannot silence the genuine voices of Kashmiris or deceive the international community.

He urged the international community to intervene and support the Kashmiris’ UN-mandated right to self-determination.

In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian forces have intensified their repressive operations, arresting many Kashmiri youths during widespread raids across the territory.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Indian troops conducted house raids at nearly eighteen locations in Poonch district, primarily targeting relatives of pro-freedom activists. Several electronic devices were also seized during these operations.

Additionally, the Indian police and the State Investigation Agency raided eleven sites across the Kashmir Valley, detaining several youths.

In a separate development, a search operation was launched in the Nowshera area of Rajouri district as part of a broader campaign to suppress pro-freedom sentiments among the local population.
