In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred three Kashmiri youth in a fake encounter in Shopian district today.

Indian troops martyred the youth during a cordon and search operation in keller-Shukroo area of the district.

However, locals while talking to the media contradicted the police officer’s claim saying that the youth were picked up and subsequently killed in a fake encounter by the troops in the district.

Meanwhile, Indian forces continued violent raids in Srinagar, barging into homes and confiscating bank documents, mobile phones, laptops, and valuables under the draconian Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act.

Residents were harassed, property damaged, and there were reports about theft of gold and cash during the raids.

On the other hand, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference has welcomed the US-sponsored resumption of dialogue between Pakistan and India, emphasizing that lasting peace in South Asia hinges on resolving the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the aspirations of Kashmiri people.

APHC spokesman Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas, in a statement in Srinagar, appreciated Washington’s mediation efforts and urged that genuine Kashmiri leadership must be included in the talks.

Jailed APHC leader Bilal Siddiqui hailed Pakistan’s victory in Operation Bunyan Marsoos and called for urgent resolution of the Kashmir dispute through talks.

In another development, acting Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party, Mehmood Ahmad Saghar, in a letter to  US President Donald Trump acknowledged  his vital role in de-escalating tensions between Pakistan and India.
