Pakistan and Egypt have reaffirmed their full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and support for its sovereignty, territorial integrity and security.

This commitment was expressed during a telephone conversation between Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Egypt's Foreign Minister Dr. Badr Abdelatty today.

The two leaders exchanged views on recent regional developments and strongly condemned the Houthi attacks against Saudi Arabia.

They also discussed cooperation under the R-4 framework, comprising Pakistan, Egypt, Türkiye and Saudi Arabia, and looked forward to the next R-4 meeting soon to further strengthen mutual ties and coordinate on regional issues.
