
Deputy Inspector General of Islamabad Police Ali Waseem visited the Crime Investigation Agency today and conducted a detailed inspection of the record room, lock-up, and various other sections.
During the visit, the overall performance of the CIA and matters related to investigations were reviewed in detail.
Speaking on the occasion, the DIG directed officers to launch an effective crackdown against active gangs involved in car and motorcycle theft and robbery.
He instructed officers to ensure the arrest of proclaimed offenders and to take strong action against elements involved in the buying and selling of stolen cars, motorcycles, and their parts.
DIG Islamabad Ali Waseem stressed that operations against criminal elements must be further intensified and made more effective.
He made it clear that negligence, carelessness and corruption in the performance of duties would not be tolerated under any circumstances.
The DIG emphasized that all officers must perform their duties with dedication, diligence and honesty.
He said upholding the rule of law and ensuring the timely provision of justice to citizens remained the foremost priority of Islamabad Police.
