In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, All Parties Hurriyat Conference has rejected Indian Army Chief’s remarks against Pakistan as baseless rhetoric devoid of ground realities.

In a statement, the APHC spokesman said Jammu and Kashmir is an internationally recognized dispute that can only be resolved in line with UN resolutions and the aspirations of Kashmiris.

He said New Delhi should adopt a dialogue-based approach instead of warmongering.

Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party has voiced serious concern over the shifting of its chairman Shabbir Ahmad Shah to a jail in Jammu despite his deteriorating health condition.

Addressing a gathering in Srinagar, Peoples Democratic Party President Mehbooba Mufti has demanded the release of Kashmiri prisoners ahead of Eid as a first real confidence-building measure to ease tensions in the territory.
