In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa FATA Disaster Management Authority has been merged in the Provincial Disaster Management Authority, with immediate effect.

This has been officially notified in Peshawar. The notification says the Relief Compensation Policy and Civilian Victims Support Fund have also been extended to tribal districts.

Sixty four posts of different cadre will be filled up to further improve performance of PDMA especially in tribal areas.
