Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi says Pakistan desires the success of ongoing talks between Russia and Ukraine which should lead to ceasefire between the two countries.

He was talking to media after handing over a consignment of relief items for the people of Ukraine, to the Ukrainian ambassador in Islamabad.

The Foreign Minister said Pakistan always wants a peaceful resolution of issues, as the war is not a solution to the problems.

The humanitarian assistance include emergency medicines, electro-medical equipment, winter bedding and food items which will be sent to Ukraine through two special C-130 flights.
