Pakistan and Russia have reaffirmed their commitment to deepening engagement in the railway sector.

The commitment was expressed at a meeting between Minister for Railways Muhammad Hanif Abbasi and the Russian Trade Counsellor in Islamabad today.

The Minister said Pakistan Railways offers significant opportunities for investment and joint ventures, particularly in railway infrastructure.

The Russian trade counsellor expressed confidence that enhanced institutional collaboration would further strengthen ties between the two countries in the railway sector.
