Muharram-ul-Haram moon was not sighted anywhere in the country today; therefore, 1st of Muharram-ul-Haram 1448 AH will fall on Wednesday.

This was announced by the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, which met in Lahore this evening.

Youm-e-Ashura will be observed on 26th of this month.
