President Pakistan-China Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry Nazir Hussain says an export-led economy is the only sustainable route to national development.

In an interview with Radio Pakistan's correspondent Qasim Bukhari, he said aligning product quality, packaging and labor standards with international benchmarks could significantly enhance Pakistan’s exports.

He said that China is providing full support to Pakistan in boosting its exports and stressed the need to identify products which are in demand in the Chinese markets particularly food items.
