President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have commended security forces for their successful operation against terrorists in Washuk district of Balochistan.

In their separate statements, they reaffirmed their resolve that effective operations will continue against terrorist elements, which are involved in disrupting peace and spreading fear in Balochistan.

In his statement, President Asif Ali Zardari said the conspiracies of the foreign sponsors and local facilitators of terrorists will be foiled at all costs.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, in his statement, said recovery of modern arms and ammunition from terrorists reflects the gravity of the challenge.

He said the ongoing successful operations by security forces are testament of our unwavering national resolve against terrorists.

The Prime Minister said the joint national resolve against terrorism is, in fact, the guarantee of the country's peace and security.

He said the officers and Jawans of the security forces and law enforcement agencies are rendering valuable sacrifices for the national security.

Shehbaz Sharif said the entire nation pays tribute to the security forces for these sacrifices and outstanding performance.

He said the courage, professional competence and strategy of the security forces have full capability to foil the terrorists' designs.

The Prime Minister expressed the resolve that security forces operations would continue with overwhelming national support and full might until complete elimination of the menace of terrorism from the country.
