Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan has said that the business community plays an important role in strengthening the national economy and creating employment opportunities.

He expressed these views while meeting a delegation of jewelers and goldsmiths from Talagang and Chakwal in Lahore today.

The delegation briefed the Governor on various issues faced by the jewelry community.

Sardar Saleem Haider Khan said the government’s priority is to resolve the problems of the business community.

The Governor stressed the need for effective legislation regarding the recovery of stolen gold and urged provincial assemblies to take concrete measures in this regard.
