In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Hurriyat leaders and organizations have strongly condemned India for persecuting detained Kashmiri Hurriyat leaders and activists over their political beliefs.
According to Kashmir Media Service, they said the Modi regime is using fabricated charges and draconian laws to suppress dissent and deny Kashmiri activists due process for opposing India’s illegal occupation of the territory.
They urged the international community and global human rights organizations to take serious notice of the situation and press India for the immediate release of all illegally detained Kashmiri leaders and activists.
Meanwhile, the Indian BJP-led administration has arrested seven hundred Kashmiris, including women, during a massive crackdown and house raid operations during last thirty-one days in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
