Fawad Chaudhary (Information Minister) Radio is an important mode of communication and is still the most important and reliable mode of information in the developed countries. Radio Pakistan is a credible and effective medium to promote Pakistan's point of view and disseminate information both at home and abroad. The government has a comprehensive plan to revamp Radio Pakistan and once it is done the importance of Radio Pakistan will be at the peak. Radio transmission is the only way forward to spread the information and government's narrative in far flung areas.

Ali Muhammad Khan (Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs)  I am one of the loving fans of Radio Pakistan and want to congratulate on the important day of World Radio Day. There are so many places like Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir and other areas where Radio transmissions are being listened. The soldiers deputed in far flung areas have access to current affairs only through this medium. The role of Radio Pakistan in wars of 1965 and 1971 can never be ignored as the radio played a heroic role in binding the entire nation and boosting the spirits of our valiant soldiers, through war anthems and other programmes. Hopefully, Radio Pakistan will move forward and propagate the narrative of the government on 5th generation warfare.

Syed Fakhar Imam (Minister For National Food Security & Research) Radio Pakistan played an important role in promoting the narrative of Pakistan on Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The people in IIOJ&K like to listen transmission of Radio Pakistan. The Indian government deputed a huge force to pressurize the innocent Kashmiris. The world champions are unable to play their role that was expected to ensure implementation of UN resolutions on Kashmir issue. Pakistan at this point of time is facing a number of global challenges. I am hopeful that in the era of digitalization, Radio Pakistan must propagate the achievements of the government in an appropriate manner.

Radio has the ability to reach across borders and can become a valuable source of information where reliable news is scarce. Radio broadcasts can provide information and entertainment broadcasted 24 hours a day to provide the most recent updates about news or something entertainment related to listeners. When there is no access to the internet, people can still search the airwaves for trustworthy sources. Radio continues to be a widely used medium for reporting both local and international news.

Even if you are travelling you may have access to Radio to get the latest and reliable news. It is quick, swift and information reaches you in very short span of time. Radio is becoming the most relevant medium even in the most developed countries because of its outreach and is an effective and popular medium in dissemination of information during catastrophes and natural calamities. It is extremely important to understand the role of Radio Pakistan at the time when one of our neighboring countries is being involved in propagandas against our country. Indian spy agency RAW has its roots in Balochistan and Radio Pakistan has the honor to air news in Balochi language so that Baloch people can understand the ground realities and the narrative of the state. Radio is an important forum to counter hybrid warfare as well. Radio transmission is being heard in far flung areas not only in Pakistan but even across the border. Moreover, Radio Pakistan is also an institution and provides training to the aspiring journalists who want to work for electronic media.
