The Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) Central Zone Punjab, in collaboration with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), held a comprehensive two-day planning workshop for BISP District Managers, Tehsil Managers, and Assistant Directors in Lahore.

The two-day session focused on briefing key field officials on the implementation of Phase 3 of the Benazir Nashonuma Programme.

Addressing the workshop, the Director General of BISP Punjab said that the transition to Phase 3 marks a crucial milestone in the mission to combat stunting and malnutrition among vulnerable households in Punjab.

Ramiz Behbudov, Chief Field Officer, UNICEF, said that UNICEF remains committed to supporting the Government of Pakistan and BISP in improving maternal and child nutrition outcomes.
