Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar says the government has a zero-tolerance policy against hoarding, speculation, and artificial price hikes.

He was chairing a high-level meeting in Islamabad today to take stock of the availability of sugar across the country and ensure price stability for consumers.

Ishaq Dar reiterated the government's commitment to ensuring uninterrupted supply of sugar at affordable prices.

The Ministry of National Food Security and Research, in coordination with provincial food departments, briefed the meeting on current sugar stocks, production projections, and market price trends.

After a thorough review of the data, the meeting expressed satisfaction over the availability and supply position.
