Air Commodore ® Khalid Chishti (Defence Analyst): Pakistan Air Force carried out an operation beyond Indian’s realization. PAF punished Indian leadership for their hostile designs.Pakistani people, government and armed forces remained very tolerant during last two days but Indian continued aggression forced Pakistani armed forces to give a befitting response. Use of drone by Indians was an expression of their frustration for not carrying out any damage to Pakistan. Pakistani armed forces gave a well-conceived reply and destroyed S-400 air defence system which was capable of destroying missiles, fighter jets and others in airspace within the radius of 400 kilometers. History will tell the technique of hitting and damaging this state of the art air defence system. Indians graded towards J-10C fighter jets lower than Raphale, but our fighter pilots proved their enormous capability and downed French made Raphale. Thus PAF is the lone air force in the world which has downed Raphale jets in aerial combat. Brilliant leadership of PAF set very high standards of training of pilots since the creation of Pakistan. Pakistani pilots are masters in technology as they made Indian air force dysfunctional. Thus we have training and technological edge over Indian air force. Basically, operation Bunyan un Marsoos is sole reason for Indians to come to ceasefire because they did not expect such a forceful response from Pakistan. This is why neither India nor the US talked about ceasefire since India had started making aggression against Pakistan. Thus Pakistan had to respond to India and India had to pay such a heavy price for Pakistani response.

Dr. Salma Mehar Malik (IR Expert): Pakistanis fought valiantly and defeated Indians on almost all the fronts. Therefore hats off to all the valiant fighters as well as the nation for showing utmost bravery in this hard time. India did not want to de-escalate the situation but forceful Pakistani response on diplomatic and war fronts forced Indians to beg for ceasefire. In the first the US thought that India would handle Pakistan single handedly but the US had to change its approach due to resilience of Pakistani nation. Now Pakistan needs robust diplomacy to get more regional and international players on its side because mediation of the US may not be sufficient for future peace and order in the region. Modi had breached the confidence of the world which can’t be restored anymore. Modi may be pressurized to restore Indus water treaty. Therefore this must be a condition for ceasefire and Pakistan needs some sort of commitments from international community on this issue. Pakistan kept the options of dialogue with India open but Modi refused to use these options therefore Modi should be behind the bars for putting region and lives of millions of people at the stake.  Actually India underestimated Pakistan’s military and technological power however Pakistan check-mate India single handedly. Pakistan created a new history in war fight in last two and three days.
