Punjab Caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi says the roads of Lahore will be washed twice a week on the pattern of Saudi Arabia.

Talking to media in Lahore, he said the provincial government has constituted four teams, each comprising one hundred employees, to actively wash the roads at night.

He expressed optimism that due to removal of dirt and dust from the roads, incidences of smog will decrease.

Talking about artificial rain, he said work is going on but some clouds are needed in this regard.

Mohsin Naqvi said work on construction and repair of over three hundred roads in Lahore will be completed in 45 days.

He urged the citizens to use electric bikes to curb pollution in the city.
