In Azad Jammu and Kashmir, the people have rejected the so-called strike call.

On September 9, educational institutions and commercial centres remained open in all major districts, while traffic continued to move normally on the roads.

Rejecting the strike call, residents of Azad Jammu and Kashmir said they are fed up with repeated strikes and disruptions.

They said they believe that strikes and sit-ins are not the way to resolve problems.

They said the government has always accepted public demands, which is why people turned out in large numbers in elections and showed their confidence.
