Now you just wait for our response, DG ISPR warns India
May 10, 2025

Director General Inter-Services Public Relations, Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry has said that India has targeted the Pakistan Air Force’s Nur Khan, Murid and Shorkot air bases, but all assets of the air force are safe.

Taking to media on Saturday, he said continuing its naked aggression, India has fired air-to-surface missiles with its jets.

He said in addition to this, India has also fired missiles into Afghanistan and carried out drone attacks there. Through its madness, aggression, and deceit, India is pushing the entire region toward a dangerous war.

The DG ISPR said we only want to tell India that we are a nation that will not be intimidated by its power, deceit, or aggression. Now you just wait for our response.

Later, briefing the media with further updates on Indian missile attack, Director General Inter-Services Public Relations, Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said that the majority of the missiles were intercepted by the air defence system of the Pakistan Armed Forces.

He said that few missiles that have been able to sneak in, have not been able to cause any damage to the flying assets of Pakistan Air Force as per initial damage assessment reports.

He said that air defence system of the armed forces has been able to successfully prevent the desired objectives of India.

The DG ISPR said that India launched missiles and a drone attack on the brotherly neighboring country of Afghanistan, shortly after targeting its own territory in Indian Punjab with missiles—an act that appears to be part of a larger sinister plan to push the region and beyond into chaos.

He said that Pakistan Air Force has electronic signatures of all these missiles that from where they were initiated and what was targeted.

He said that he wants to assure the people of Pakistan that their armed forces are vigilant and thwarting all these cowardly acts of aggression by the Indians.

Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said these blatant acts of aggression by India reflect the paranoia within the Indian mindset, which continues to grow after the failure of each such act. This paranoia intensifies further when India realizes that it cannot break the resolve and will of the Pakistani people, which only strengthens with every cowardly move.

He said that this growing frustration and paranoia of the Indians is going to be further compounded.

Meanwhile, in a post on social media platform X, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar said all assets of PAF are safe and Indian missiles have been successfully intercepted and neutralized by Pakistan's air defence system.
