Minister for Maritime Affairs Muhammad Junaid Anwar Chaudhry says Pakistan’s maritime sector offers significant investment opportunities in ports, logistics, and blue economy initiatives.

He made these remarks during an online meeting with Chairman of the Pakistan-Saudi Arabia Joint Business Council Mansour Bin Mohammed Al Saud and other participants.

He said there is considerable scope for bilateral collaboration in line with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and Pakistan’s development priorities.

Participants discussed investment opportunities at Karachi Port, Port Qasim, and Gwadar Port.

The minister invited Saudi investment in the expansion of the PNSC fleet and the establishment of an approximately 100-acre Aqua Research and Technology Park at the Korangi Fish Harbour Authority.
